Ok yea thats what mine does only now and then though. My old man thought the same as you. At least thats 1 thing of my mind weird how some days does it and some it dosnt

That's another headache what's happens when trying to start it?

Now and then when i start it it runs abit lumpy for abit then sorts its self out and is fine whole car shakes only does it for like 4seconds or so

Have you checked your pcv valve that sits left of the engine. take the dip stick out and if the car hesitates then the pcv is okay. If nothing happens it's faulty and will need replacing.

Checked that just now and the car splutters so the pcv is ok.

If plugs coil packs have been replaced the only other thing is a coked up cylinder head.

I havnt done plugs or coils yet that next on list im putting some genuine coils in and some new plugs

I replaced my plugs for no reason as the ones fitted were replaced in 2014 Jan and car not driven for 6-8 months but changed them as I didn't know if the garage had them replaced or faked a receipt as dsg oil isn't £38 for sure. I have ngk BKR7EIX plugs off ebay 0.8mm plug gap for £27 delivered so I'd go with those  :wink:

My old VR6 did this , it was one of the coils that was breaking down apparently , took VW a week to sort it !
