Glass cutting polish

Johnny_tro:
Anyone advise on a good cutting compound and. Pad for glass ?

dansmith180:
Carpro ceri glass and we sell something called a Rayon pad for glass specifically at Elitecarcare.

Just FYI polishing glass has to be done by machine and is extremely hard work. Otherwise just clay and then use something like panel wipe on the glass to get a clean surface.

ChrisGT:
Carpro ceriglass is good stuff.

I've also had very good results with: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140735541485?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&var=440055527589&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Worth noting and being careful of the fact that if being worked by machine then these can create a lot of heat and this can damage the glass by causing the layers of glass to delaminate. It's a fairly small risk but worth keeping in mind.

I'm curious. Why polish glass to the extent of using a machine?

xjay1337:
Because glass is by far the hardest most resistant surface and you will not get any scratch or swirl  or marking removals without it.
I have had a few good results.
Got a pretty heavy scratch out a window and windscreen once (vandalism) but it took me over an hour and was very hard to do.
