My Monzas are my winter wheels, for the last 4 years, suffered only a small amount of white worm. Sadly this week I think baby brain took over and now 2 are Kerbed  :fighting:

So easy to clean for winters.

Have to say I'm disappointed so far, wheels were supposed to be ready today (1 week) and now I'm told it'll be Saturday despite stating how urgent it was for me to have them by Friday at the absolute latest!

Photos will follow Monday

Sometimes delays happen and I'm sure you'd rather it come back a day late instead of a set of wheels that are unfinished or not in a presentable state.

I'm sure he'd rather they come back on time, in a finished and presentable state!

You pay for a service, you shouldn't be given a choice between coming back on time, or coming back properly done.

Agree delays do happen, and I guess it depends how often these delays happen with that particular company - whether or not luke should be disappointed with them. If its a one off, fair enough, but if its every other customer, you have a right to be disappointed - especially if you have made it apparent that you need them back within THEIR quoted time frame.

Lets just hope when they come back the extra day was worth the wait!

Have to agree with @Peskyjones

I mentioned my urgency and now I have to reschedule my plans and change my annual leave to suit. This was down to biting off more than they could chew, their workload is on whiteboard and he confessed he took on another separate set of Monza's last minute along with a range rover sport while I was there. It's a booking service which I planned a week in advance with them. 8 more wheels arrive at the door and because of this, mine are delayed!

wefixalloywheels.com

Only place in rep Ireland that have the CNC lathe to do it. Other companies will do the work but they actually just take your wheels and subcontract it out to them regardless..

Have to say, the lads in there are absolute gentlemen in person. I'm just not happy with the delay.

You've obviously never worked in a trade where things can unexpectedly go wrong lol.
Like you say it depends but presumably this is the first time Luke has used them and the point is they are going to be a day late, not a big issue.
Especially to be like "Have to say I'm disappointed so far, wheels were supposed to be ready today (1 week) and now I'm told it'll be Saturday despite stating how urgent it was for me to have them by Friday at the absolute latest! " then name and shame them, but say "the lads in there are well nice though"

@lukemk5gti
they used to trade under the name collins engineering.
rim solutions also offer the diamond cut service as they have the machinery.
have heard great things about rim solutions.
look up micksgarage gti on youtube, they had the wheels on their gti done by rim solutions.
