What he said. 60 seconds, a few screws and it's way easier! Look at your PolarFIS connector to figure our how to release the one you cant see  :happy2:

Ive done all that. My question is how to get my hands into the tiny gap to reach the connector so l can unplug the CANBUS and put my Polar Fis in. I was lying down upside down on my drivers seat and still couldnt get my hands into the gap or see what l was reaching for.

When laying down on the carpet try getting at it with your left hand.

It can be painful to even Get your had infront of you at this point, but preserve. With all had to get it out.

The clips is on the top once its pushed in pull the connector. This should stop the clip going back to its seat. And then just keep wiggling and pulling.

Also see how tight the connectors are by fitting cable to the new can. You'll see how much of a push and pull they need.

Any more help lemy know

Also try moving your steering wheel up and out and getting a hand in under it. If it helps.

My arm got stuck once i unclipped. The plastics on this car really hurt.

From what I remember it was a royal pain in the arse taking the bugger out. Took me a while but it is possible.

Had the same problem with mine, what a bl**dy awful job it was! don't fancy doing that again in the future, luckily my new Pirelli must have the later canbus, as it is fitted with the satnav unit already, phew!!

I remember it too me the best part of a day between everything, took a while to find it after firstly taking off wiper panel and hoping it was there!

Good luck anyway, sure you will get there in the end  :happy2:
