Hi I'm new to GTI's and I'm looking at a 2005 automatic which I am told is good.
104k on the clock, is there anything I should be looking out for ?

As above - ensure the DSG has been serviced at regular intervals.

I disagree, I think it's just your luck, granted you do want one which has been serviced when it should, but mine and a few others I know of have had mechatronics failures even when they have been serviced at the correct intervals.
Just my honest 2p
