Fiver free fuel at Shell

Fuelled up using it today ready for a road trip to Newquay :-)

Thanks for the shell tip. One in return....i live not far from Newquay

MASSIVE road works on the A30 at Temple just E of Bodmin. Dualling the last bit of trunk rd. Avoid at all costs if travelling down fri night or sat.
Also rec leave v early or v late. You REALLY do not want to bet at Temple in traffic, especially in a modded car.
I got caught in it all last night (tues!) at 2100 and it added best part of an hour to my trip home.

To avoid head off on A395 just W of launceston, pick up A39 head west...for the fun n sun of Newquay.

I travelled 1am Friday and returned 4.30pm Monday. Clear run both ways.

The only bit of traffic during the weekend was the temporary 3 way lights at one of the holiday camps near lidl/ maccies.

Used for a £15 top up yesterday, however no receipt issued, and nowt appeared on Ppa... yetl..i deff got the fuel in my car, having scanned tge QCR in tge app.

Fearing i may have accidently "stolen" the fuel,  i have emailed Shell as a cya move...!?!

Will keep you posted, if i am not aprehended on the m6!

I have normally received an email receipt and PayPal notification minutes after.

Did it say "authorising" after the qr scan?

Nothing in Ppal or Shell apps. No email from Shell.

Now am v pleased i contacted them as on the roads again today!

Perhaps I'll try another Shell garage and see what that does?
