Suspension advice needed

Hello guys,

I've recently seen one of my rear shocks is leaking (very) badly. I thought that this is the perfect opportunity to "upgrade" the components used. I suppose this will allow for greater body control as well as better looks.

I want to spend about £5-600 ideally as I don't intend on tracking it, so don't need adjustable damping etc. Though I have seen Koni Sport shocks which @Shoduchi which are adjustable and look within budget although not sure where I would buy them from in the UK.

I've also seen some AP coilovers (around £400) which I'm contemplating, but again I'm unsure as it's my daily drive and I don't want anything too crashy/bouncy.

Anybody have any suggestions / recommendations within the price range Ive mentioned?

Can I ask which springs would go well with them shocks @Shoduchi ?

Also I've noticed the Koni Sport dampers are available from Awesome but only for the R32.

For that money I don't think you'll get a better quality setup than with a Bilstein B12 pro kit. 

Matched springs and dampers. Kit uses B8 dampers, probably with tweaked valving to match the springs.

I would have gone for oem but have been swayed by knowledgeable members to look further a field

You can either get the Koni Sport dampers and H&R springs separately or order the Koni Sport Kit 1140-1761 that comes with the H&R springs included. I got mine separately and spent € 654 (dampers from local dealer and springs from German ebay). I've seen the complete kit sold in my country for € 745.

My mechanic prefers my current setup (or Bilstein's equivalent B12) to low end coilovers, performance and comfort wise. I trust his advices.

So I've been looking around at the suspension set ups and I'm not convinced I'll be satisfied with the stance from a shock & spring combo.

I've upped my budget a little and am seriously considering these.
