Folks, I got an RCD310 off ebay and got the code for it from my local VW garage using the serial number on the side of the unit. However, I've tried the code twice now and its not working.
If I enter it a 3rd time will the unit brick? How do I get it reset to start the process again?
Any idea why the code VW supplied wouldnt be working? The unit came from a Polo that was being broken, so I dont think its a case of it being a dodgy import.
Any suggestions?
