Scroll down about 70% through my build thread. Part numbers are there!

I actually bought a set of them to fit but then I painted the existing ones and preferred them.

If you're in Ireland and able to collect, you're welcome to the brand new VW ones!

You can remove the remaining rubber layer and either paint or cover them? I used some carbon wrap on mine as I too struggled with finding replacements.

Found the part numbers in your thread, only results they bring up on google is your build thread ! Aha. Unfortunately I'm in England or would snap them up! Do you remember where you got them from by any chance ?

I was thinking about painting them but want the original colour finish really, I did have my interior wrapped in carbon but it wasn't to my taste so I've removed it all. Maybe some black plastidip ?

Bought them direct from VW actually and that's the part numbers the parts guys gave me.. Found it funny they didn't start with 1K....

Get them direct from VW parts. Only around a tenner probably.

Any advice on how to remove the old trims?

I got a pair of new ones (thanks to this thread for the part number) and just want to make sure I don't break something.  Do they just pull straight off?

Thanks in advance.

Yes

Two small compression joints hold them so just pull hard.
