Out of interest why would you run a single gauge like this when you can fit a polar FIS and display everything you can think of in the MFD (including a digital speed readout).

Polar FIS doesn't show oil pressure for one thing. This why I'm going to use one of these.
Analogue gauges work well because you can check you gauge without
reading it.You know where there needle should be, you often don't need an absolute reading. Particularly useful while on track, as I am sometimes.
I have a Polar FIS module which I primarily bought so that I could see oil temperature. I happen to agree that if oil pressure were available through this device that it would be the preferred option.
