Worth replacing PCV valve or not?

My car is on it's original PCV valve and it seems to be working fine as confirmed by blowing into it and removing the dipstick. So is it worth changing or should I just wait until it breaks?!

Just to add my car seems to have more turbo lag than my previous GTI so just wondering if this could help or be the cause? DV has already been replaced.
