Are they much of an improvement over stock?

Much better.. than a rev G? Any logging or solid proof you can post?

I know they're a better long term solution than the oem valves. I know tuned cars can eat oem valves within a year. I know they hold boost as well as a rev G. But much better?

I'm not knocking what you're saying, in fact I'm considering upgrading to a dv+ at some point. If you can tell me why they're that much better than oem it'd make my decision much easier!

They hold boost the same as a Rev G. It'll easily out last a Rev G  ( my last rev G split within a few months)

What it makes a huge difference with is drivability and throttle response. Transitioning between boost and vacuum is so much smoother and unlike the OE valve, this closes when the boost pressure has dissipated rather than being held open for far too long by the ecu/solenoid. Worthwhile upgrade and mine has already paid for itself in terms of durability.

Basically as Dan said  :happy2:

Can we not organise a group buy?

I believe the price is a set/standard price from GFB so no group buy discount.

I had a rev G intact and noticed the throttle response after fitting this valve. It's worthwhile!

Thinking of getting one of these but can anyone tell me if it makes a blow off sound?

I bought a forge blow off adaptor and I hate it :surprised:

I have obviously totally outgrown the pathetic pfft-pfft sound it makes

I thought I would like the sound. I was wrong :rolleye:

Anyways.... I've been thinking of getting one of these but I've been worried that it will make the same pathetic racket as the forge spacer :ashamed: :ashamed:

Can anyone dispel my concerns

It will make more noise with an open cone filter. I have the OEM airbox and I can only hear it rarely with the a window open.
