Running one of these on my s3 with a revo intake and can only hear a slight noise when lifting off on full throttle so isn't noisy at all  :happy2:

Like already said it sharpens throttle response and found on part throttle it feels more urgent and ready to go unlike the revG which sometimes could feel a little flat in the same situations

Definitely going to have to go ahead and buy one of these I think!

As my revision D diverter valve seems to be leaking already :ashamed:

Had a  stutter  under  acceleration and checked on the VCDS and got the "boost pressure not realised" (sorry, that's not exactly what it said but I can't quite remember the exact wording) code

Appreciate the feedback of this product!

Same boat, swapped G for D and had the low boost code.

Coincidentally it was the same day I tightened one of the hoses so I'm not ruling it out that I possibly tightened too much and ripped it.

Never really read into these. Can you fit them onto say a broken D/G valve? Running a G but thinking if that splits can I fit one of these to it broke

Yes.

You only use the solenoid off your REV G and remove the diaphragm part.

Although it's unlikely for the solenoid to fail, it can happen.

It's probably the DV :fighting:
I wish I'd done my research a bit better before shelling out €100 on the revision D. As I had a perfectly good revision G on the car :ashamed:

I thought the D was a solid upgrade from the G. It was only after I'd bought it and fitted it that I saw people's comments that the D can be troublesome :ashamed:

Agh well.... You live and learn....

Exactly. Cheers :happy2:

As far as I know mate, yes that is the right one :happy2:

You can either fit it on the turbo housing as per K03 three engined standard GTI's.

Or in the front of the engine bay as per KO4 fitted Edition 30's or Pirellis.

Someone more knowledgeable might be able to confirm with more confidence but I am pretty sure the one unit is suitable for both cars :happy2:

T9351 is the correct GFB part for both K03 and K04 TFSi engines.

Worth noting that it's cheaper elsewhere as Awesome will charge you postage on top of that price, whereas AMD sell them for £97.80 delivered on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GFB-DV-for-VAG-TFSi-Audi-VW-Seat-Skoda-Diverter-Valve-T9351-/271664459868?hash=item3f4076b05c:g:za8AAOxyffZSY63n

Thank you for that Dan-FR :happy2:

Awesome's postage rates are a bit mad!!

I have an address in Antrim (Northern Ireland- but it's a UK address) virtually every UK seller will post to Antrim for free but Awesome want £18 to post to Antrim

Madness :ashamed:

Yeah Awesome GTI's postage is a bit of a piss take, especially when AMD will also be paying eBay selling fees on top..... just shows the mark-up I guess. Unfortunately I've had this discussion many times when it comes to how much they mark up the products they sell

They want at least 25£ to ship to Portugal small stuff! Madness indeed! Most of the other sellers ship stuff so much cheaper normally! :surprised:

Exactly mate. The charge to post it to my house in the south of Ireland was £25!! Crazy. It's a bit silly of them because I would buy lots of things from them if there postage was in line with the competition.

I'm going to ring them and see if they can adjust there rates. I'll let you know if I have any luck  :happy2:
