Millers Oils NANODRIVE CFS 5w-40 NT

Anyone tried this oil? Seems ideal for a car that sees a bit of track use.
I've seen my oil up around 120/125 degrees before so I'm thinking this may be a good choice.

Iv just bought 6l from JJC race and rally for £65.49 delivered



Iv haven't  had chance to have it serviced yet though, so the jury is still out so to speak but I thought this Millers oils Nanodrive was the vag oil of choice

Loads of people have been using this for ages now, including myself. Seems good stuff

Any quality 5w40 would be ok, better than the longlife 5w30 anyway

The thing to watch with the Millers and other 'track' or race' oils is the chemical make-up i.e. less use of detergents meaning the oil will need changing more frequently.

I agree, this is something I'm aware of. Having 'Race' or 'Competition' on something doesn't necessarily qualify it as the best or most suitable. Some race oils are drained after every meeting and the engine rebuilt multiple times in a season.

Because of this I rang Opie this morning and they confirmed that it meets the required standards for annual servicing.

Interesting!, I'd always used slikolene products in the past (Nissan gtir) but the vag scene swear by this stuff, was the only reason I ordered it

My local indi has changed from She'll products to Protronas, so my car had the 5w30 Syntium in for the last year and it's drank a fair bit of it compared to the castrol/quantum that was in the year previous,but I had it remapped last December so that might explain the higher consumption
