Been looking to get one for mine but mk6 ones aren't cheap and never see any decent mk5 ones so I'm probably gonna get this one, they do them with different colour stitching aswell

Sold a brand new one for £32 last week but should have really kept it and it was free with the gaiter surround I bought off a lovely forum member PND

I'm in the process of putting a mk7 gaiter and knob in my mk5. I've had to remove the leather and knob but you could do something with my old one maybe. I'll send a pic if you are interested

Tried one of those on mine but leather is too thick to get the plastic to clip back together.

I got one of these and used my gear knob.

That's a pic of mine with the new gaitor. It comes as a complete gear knob gaiter and plastic trim so I just removed the gear knob and fitted my Gti one to it.
