poop - spoke too soon... the NS tail light has fogged up :( no amount of hairdrying is fixing this unfortunately.
I can assure you that I've never had an issue with these lights and only sold them due to buying new outer ones.

My bro in law has a mk5 1.4 and his light flooded with water so I tightended the nuts that were loose and the seal fully home although our lights have different bolts to the standard lights. If you're not happy I'll refund you fully.
That's cool mate, no refund required. I don't doubt you never had a problem. They are used, second hand and there for anything can happen.

Disappointed but you are not to blame. Just a problem for me to solve that's all.

That's the thing mate I wouldn't sell anything that causes issues for another member especially as this reflects on my integrity as a seller and member of a forum.

superpro ALK installed :)

£45 + VAT in the end. Not had a chance to give it a proper whirl yet but the steering feels a little tighter now, but that might be because my old bushes were slightly worn.

Make sure you get it aligned after fitting the ALK if you haven't already!

Not bad at all then! Let us know what you think of it once you've had a chance to have a proper drive. It's one of the many things on my to-do list. Might get some uprated dampers while I'm at it.

So it's been a while since my last post; been busy with life and saving up some money.

I recently ordered an MDI Armrest kit, only to find that the armrest console doesn't have the right sized hole. So i've had to order one of those.

My finger is now hovering over the Racingline damper kit from AwesomeGTI (https://www.awesomegti.com/shop-by-car/volkswagen/golf-mk5/racingline-performance-spring-and-damper-kit-golf-mk5/) as that was next on my list.

And finally i have been thinking wheels again. I really like the look of these. I don't normally like black wheels on a black car, but i am really digging this look.

small update on some changes on my car. I ordered an MDI kit just before Christmas and have managed to get round to install it. I found that my car didn't have the slot for the CD player in the arm rest so i had to order one of those. Luckily i tracked one down on eBay :)

old vs new :)

took quite a lot of fiddling as i realised that i couldn't just straight swap as my car has air vents in the rear and the tube feeding it got in the way. So, i have removed this. I would have preferred not to, but i don't sit in the back.

removed tube. This pipe was a little bugger to take out. Can imagine it's a pain to get back in!

all clear for the kit and new armrest now that the pipe has been removed.

mdi kit installed

quick test

I've also ordered some new wheels! hopefully get them tomorrow  :driver:

Thanks Andy!

Like i've said before, i am not normally a fan of black wheels on black cars, but these just work for some reason. I really need to up my cleaning game though. I try, but am by no means a pro and have lots to learn. Tomorrow needs to be dry! lol

I've switched the MDI kit now so that it sits the same as yours; plug at the back, space at the front :D  :driver:

Today i treated myself to a pressure washer and one of those snowfoam lances. Have to say that i am pretty impressed although it does appear to burn through the car wash stuff. Anyway, i wanted to clean the car and take it up the road for a couple of pictures. I didn't go to town on the cleaning aspect and actually, come spring time, i might actually pay someone to detail it. I'd be interested to see what the results are like.

I am super, super happy with the wheels now!
