Nuwbe Mk5 Gti Essex
« on: July 04, 2016, 01:58:54 pm »
Hi all,
Just bought my first GTi , moved on from a Clio  182 , much more grown up car , if a little grown up and definitely toooooooooo quite.
not done much too it apart from got hold of some 18" diamond turned Monza's instead of the 17"'s in the photos.
Done the customary diverter valve, breather valve and pump cam follower, needs some new brakes , then I think it needs a better exhaust and a re-map.

We don't appreciate such behaviour like parking on doubles on this forum, that's not what grown ups do... :signLOL:

Sorry, couldn't resist. Welcome along, glad to see a fellow Essex member on here. Think we need to organise another little Essex meet sometime soon while we still have summer.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

Welcome, another Essex boy here who also sold a Clio 182 FF for his GTI.

Lots of advise and support on here, lots of ideas to be investigated and fun to be had trawling through peoples build threads.
