Misfire at 1400-1500 rpm
« on: July 16, 2016, 02:01:09 pm »
Had my mk6 GTI for a few months now. The past week of so I've been having "engine fault visit workshop" followed by the EPC light come on. Vcds said it was camshaft position sensor g40 intermittent signal. Swapped the sensor out and it's still doing it. Had it on vcds last night and monitored the misfire blocks. Misfires at 1400-1500 rpm. Don't know what to try any help??

Checked the sparks and coil packs out? Also, fueling could be worth looking over like checking the HPFP cam follower and that the fuel filter is the right one for your car.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!
