Hi from (not so sunny) Warrington
« on: July 17, 2016, 07:38:13 am »
Hi all,

I've been a member of the site for a good few months but have used this site as a bit of a knowledge tool to learn a couple of things about the MkV. I've had MkV since October last year and it was a standard DSG model with 108k on the clock and FSH. Since owning it, I've bought some HEKO wind deflectors, GTI badges for the seat adjusters, Miltek cat back non-resonated exhaust from PhilNUK (from this forum), a K&N panel filter and a private plate. (unfortunately no recent picks of the changes other than the plate - Will get them up soon!)

I've always had a soft spot for VW's and I'd put that down to my older brother owning a ton of Mk2 GTI's during my teenage years. When the opportunity came up for me to own something with ticks in the box for performance & comfort (for me) & practicality (for the family) then it didn't take much persuading to hand the money over and take ownership of the car

Anyway, I thought I'd stop browsing on here and actually say hello  :happy2:

Well... we actually had some sunshine for the first time in weeks so... I cleaned the car and presto, more up to date pictures:

The next steps for this one are:

- BBS LM reps
- H&R 30mm
- RNS510
- Rear fully colour coded
- Skirts sprayed black
