Sounds awesome mine dosnt Fart anything like that!

My exhaust does seem quite throaty in comparison to other standard Golfs (minus the CAI). The farts are quite loud when I hit 4k RPM and the car is running at
optimum temps.

@MrJohnVas what exhaust set up were you running at the time to get those sort of noises at 4K revs? Mines nothing like that and it's annoying me!!

mine sounds quite throaty and loud. wouldn't be surprised if previous owner did something like resonator delete believe it's called?

haha so did we! heart in throat moment, even though we were keeping to the speed limit  the acceleration can look quite aggressive lol.
