Meguiars micro fibre polishing system
« on: July 19, 2016, 07:07:45 pm »
Has anyone had any experience with using the Meguiars micro fibre kit for the Da on VAG paint? Obviously it's like granite so I'm wondering if this system makes any difference?

It's pretty damn effective, one of the best combos you can get on a DA. Especially with a DAS6 pro.

Is it worth getting the finishing  polish too - does it. Make much difference compared to just using a good quality glaze etc and then waxing / sealing?

I've found it cuts pretty good when using with a DA (megs g220v2).

I have only used the cutting micro fiber pads and compound though and then refined the finish with M205 and foam pads.

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

I recommend getting the finishing polish. I've done a heavy cut on another mk5 golf vs the full polish on mine and the difference is noticeable.

Yes it's worth getting the finishing polish. Although maybe i'd use the 205 instead as I prefer it to the finishing wax. Followed by a nice sealant/ wax will come up great

Ordered the kit. Having looked at various reviews over on DW I think I'll refine the finish with a foam pad and some Menz that I have. Should hopefully it looking the shizzle!

I use this kit and find it very easy to use.

Its brilliant for a nice final polish but i would say for cutting its not the best
