Yeah im going to them today. Does anyone know what the duty cycle should look like when doing a boost log in vagcom

The boost control duty is not a set target % its based on PID controllers and pre/post states.

If your getting high % then this is a sign the ecu is asking for less boost and the hardware not responding, due to mechanical faults or leaks.

1st thing to do is make sure the MAP reading are correct and the map sensor not over reading, then do a logging session on the dyno set we at what loads the boost control is out of range, by how much then WHY.

With vagcom and my dyno I can make a visual picture inmy head of whats going on and where we need to start looking at.

We could also restore the ecu back to stock then datalog the ecu.

Hey, how did you solve the problem with the overboost?
was it the remap?
I also have an overboost on my 2.0tdi but no limp mode. it is remaped and pulls very well but I am afraind one day I will pop the turbo.
