Have I got the wrong front pads? Help needed!

Started a topic here regarding front brake pads on EuroCarParts:
http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,107627.0.html
. Now I'm stuck. Have installed them, but the inner pad isn't sitting flush into the caliper at all. These pads also have a metal clip on outer pad, last set didn't.
Old Pad:
New Pad:
Fit of inner pad (excuse sloppy copper grease job):
Here are screens of the pads I have, and the other option available. Notice the difference in the ear shape.
Previous Shape:
What I've got:
Here is the link on EuroCarParts:
http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Volkswagen_Golf_2.0_2007/p/car-parts/brake-friction/brakes/brake-pad/?101441167&1&96558afcde7a6f67bac480cbaa5b8da27fac1298&000036
Anyone have any ideas? Or does this just not matter? You'll notice the metal clip on the middle pad of the above photo. Could these be R32 pads, can't seem to find any information suggesting that there are two different pad options for a standard MK5 GTi caliper/brake setup. Bit stuck.
EDIT: On EuroCarParts when searching for R32 pads, there's extra information stating that pads are for disc diametter 345mm (R32 discs). However, when searching for the same part with a 2.0L GTi entered, it doesn't state it.
When searching for R32:

When searching for GTi:
