noise when moving off
« on: July 28, 2016, 09:26:54 am »
hi all,

long time lurker (mostly in for sale sections), first time poster.

Quick question, has anyone any idea what a noise thats like a deep squeal from what appears to be front left side could be.
only happens when it seems to be cold, and just moving off for s split second then dissappears when you drive on, doesnt seem to happen once its warmed up or at traffic lights etc.

I'm thinking (hoping) brake pads or something...any advice or things to check would be handy, thanks

Mine does this.

Release bearing in the clutch.

Have one sitting ready to fit, but it's been like that for the 10k I've owned it and the previous owner says the same. Never bothered me enough to go to the hassle of fitting.
