Hi all,

Just fit my shiny new vz033's and it's highlighted even more the need to lower the stance slightly.

However, as I use the car to go mountainbiking it often has 2 fairly hefty (+/- 35lb) downhill bikes in the back + kit + Typically driving hard on bumpy Welsh b roads, so what I really don't want to happen is any rubbing, especially with the slightly wider offset of these wheels.

I also do a couple of trips a year at least to the Alps with the car fully loaded, and driving fairly hard up/down steep hills.

Anybody with these wheels or similar size / offset who has experience with / avoiding rubbing when loaded up, I'd be glad to hear your thoughts!!

Top of the list so far is the VWR 20mm spring, plus I need geometry etc. doing as I've been getting premature wear on the front inner edges.

thanks
ed

If you go for the VWR springs or any others make shure you get a 4 wheel tracking done straight after to stop premature tyre wear.
ED35. Standard factory condition.

Yeah I would get it done there - I'm assuming they do it?

bump for any wheel rubbing issues with lowering springs / increased wheel offsets.
