RCD300 TO RCD510. CAN GATEWAY.
« on: July 30, 2016, 08:40:03 pm »
Hello,

Currently in the process upgrading my RCD300 to a RCD510. My car is a 2007 Golf MK5 GTI.

I already have a aeriel adapted which is needed qhen ugrading to newer units but what i am unsure about is if i need to upgrade my CAN GATEWAY or not?

used my VCDS to find out what is currently fitted. Will i need to change my CAN gatway to not suffer the battery drain issues?
