Hi guys. Just joined the forum today as ive just bought a MK5 Golf GTI and noticed a few small issues.
Firstly theres a slight misting of vapour as you can see in the picture and not sure if its fuel or oil our something else.
secondly ive noticed a pipe split as you can see in the picture and not sure that that does.
Also ive noticed the car is quick in first gear then it doesn't feel all that quick in the rest of the gears. I used to have a Audi A3 1.8T remapped to 200bhp the same power as my golf and its no way as quick as the audi. I did notice on some paperwork with the golf that when it had some springs fitted the garage made a comment saying possible dump valve fault and might need replacing. The turbo works fine as in I can hear it whistle and spool up and theres no smoke or anything.
any ideas?
