MK5 passenger seat not sliding
« on: August 04, 2016, 03:39:18 pm »
Hello fellas

I think it's been covered may times before, but my passenger seat on my Golf won't move forward. :sad1: It tilts when you use the handle, but it slides about 2 inches before it won't move anymore. The garage can't fathom it out, I'm wondering if something's lodged in the runners to stop it.

How do you get the seat out to inspect? It's really p*****g me off at the moment.

Cheers

Adam

This is worth a read http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,37400.0.html

Yeah, he reckons he's seen this, but reckons there's something trapped on the runners.
