Have a search on the RNS 510 on this site.  That is the one I would go for.

30gb hard drive
SD card slot (uploading and playing music)
Nav sits on the HD
DVD player (when stationary) although you can bypass the interlock.

I have one and It is a great piece of kit.  There is a GB running at the mo.

Yes I do.  Great bit of kit.

Basically, you have a 30gb hard drive that you can upload the sat nav maps to, leaving your CD slot free to play Cd's or DVD's (when stationary).  You can also  upload songs to the HD, via the CD slot (in MP3 format) or via the SD card slot.  The Nav will take up 12GB of space, so that leaves approx 18Gb for your finest Neil Diamond...............

The nav is good, but still does not have full UK Postcode functionality.   It is OEM and looks great.

I have an RNS 510, they are a great piece of kit which do a lot and transform the look of the dash I think!
There is a group buy in the group buy section of the RNS!  :happy2:

The biggest limitation it has are you can't input full UK postcodes, due to the UK having the longest post codes in the world, and the VW maps are not always the newest available, even the latest V6.1 MAP disc only has maps for the last quarter of 2008

There is away around the postcode limitation by importing destinations via the SD card from VW's online site at vwlabs.com

I dont find that to much of an issue tbh. If you have the street which when you have the postcode you usually do, it gets you there anyway.

Ive not used that VWlabs before, Ill have a look   :happy2:

I suppose it would be simpler if they supported full postcodes to save a little bit of messing around!  :happy2:
