It was a great PH meet and my first.  Very relaxed and chilled event and the weather played ball too  :happy2:

Here are my pictures:

Was a great morning :) nice to meet you @rashg60;  I'm sure I spoke to a couple of others from here just without putting names to faces. Also spotted some other familiar usernames in windscreens. Great selection of cars to have a nose around, really enjoyable!
Current:
Mk6 R, Tornado Red, 5-door, '13.

Yes I agree, fantastic chilled out event. Had to leave slightly earlier, as had a 5 hour drive in front of me! Anything interesting happen after I left/towards the end of the event that I missed out on? Did they pick a car of the show?

Nice to meet you too. Sorry to point out the bendy bit on your front splitter - I kinda felt bad after. Now that's another thing that will annoy you when you look at it!

haha don't worry, I'm glad you pointed out the splitter dent. Now I know to try and sort it out

More of the same after you left. Yeah, the car of the show got parked in front of the reception area. Was an immaculate, red,  mk1 I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'm definitely not an expert on the early GTIs! (Not an expert on anything, actually :rolleye:)
