Fuel filter

Going to change the fuel filter as I doubt it's been changed before. I assume everyone just uses a oem one from VW ?

I always use the genuine item, Done a few now as they generally never get changed as part of the service at the dealers.

TPS will be able to supply you the correct one, Not sure what car you are running but the last 2 I bought for an ED30 and Golf R was the 6.6 Bar type.

I have never used tps, how does it work. Is it not trade only ?

It varies between stores, but mine for example has no problem selling to anyone. Try your local

Used them for the past 2 Years with no issues, My local TPS is in Sheffield.
