Hi guys.
I recently bought a mk 5 2.0 tdi gt and have been having some problems with it and just wondering if anyone might be able to help me out.
First of all the abs unit went, which i heard is a common problem on this model, so fixed that. Then whilst bleeding the brakes the master cylinder went, so i fitted a second hand one on. The problem im having now is that theres very little in the brakes. the pedal feels really hard to press and ive been told that it sounds like the vacuum pump may have gone but i just cant see 3 things going in the space of a week. Ive been to the garage to get it scanned and it comes back with no error codes but still nothing from the brakes. Im not 100% sure on what the scans actually read and whether or not it would find a faulty vacuum pump but like I said im just looking for any help on here before I go n spend more money.
