Hello everyone. Anyone know of any coin operates car washes in Bristol area? Can't seem to do find one anywhere and is the only way to clean my car (without going to the polish people to have grit rubbed in my paintwork)

As in a jetwash? Most Sainsbury's garages have them. Maybe google for ones near you and give them a ring to check.

I wouldn't advise putting your car through a traditional carwash. As much as they should be safe for the car and well designed these days, their reliability still depends on whether they're maintained properly. The majority probably aren't. I've seen a few horror stories first hand.

Can't go wrong with a jetwash as long as you avoid the brush on a stick. This bit usually spews out foam, so you can hover it over the car to cover the car with foam then wash it with a wash mitt of your own. Might get a few funny looks, but it'll work.

Morrisons in Cribbs, or the petrol station between Patchway and Aztec West, northbound on the A38

I've often used Xpress at Farrington Gurney to clean mine, no complaints from me. :-)

Keeping it original..............or not!!
