2 fault codes... please help!!
« on: August 15, 2016, 07:20:59 pm »
hi everyone,

just run a scan after eml came on and threw up these codes:

00537 - lambda (oxygen sensor) regulation - sporadic 001-upper limit exceeded
01056 - equalization change - sporadic 002-lower limit exceeded

a quick history on the car. bought january 2014, r-tech stage 1 remap march 2014, october 2015 dogbone mount bolt sheered in half which crushed the downpipe, put in a bcm downpipe with sports cat straight away and was running fine for a bit but noticed a lack of power. fitted rear lambda extender after a fault code came up and was advised to do this to avoid that particular fault.

june 2016, had enough of the car not running 100% so phoned nick at r-tech to take a look and got booked in for august. straight away he asked to remove the lambda sensor before he could take a look which i did a few weeks ago (so the fault code came back).

when i got up there last week he ran a scan and threw up these codes which i've listed above, he cleared them and changed the spark plugs and put it on the rolling road and came back with 254hp with 302 torque.

very happy with what him and mark did up there as the car was running very smooth and sharp

but now, just on the way home, these codes came back on!

nick did mention it could be a fault with the sensor and may need replacing.

anyone else have any ideas?

have you had the lambda mapped out as spacers still bring up the EML.

Well in all honestly most of us have come to learn that even a sports cat brings up an EML. I'd get Niki at r tech to map it out as they can do this. if your values are correct from the lambda then it a definite map out.

I also have a sports cat BCS and it brings up the EML but for some reason the last two days it's been hiding but when it comes on its a couple of times a day.

After installing my angled O2 last week...I went on a cruise Friday night and then a Poker Run on Sunday. Did much spirited driving on both days and still no fault codes or CEL(check engine light)/MIL.  My '07 is a K04 upgrade and has 2.5" catless TurboBack.
