I'm going from Revo to Rtech
« on: August 18, 2016, 12:27:57 pm »
After thinking about going to stage 3, new turbo etc, I have decided the chaps at RTech are the best place to get the absolute most from the HW I have. I spoke to them on the phone and they really impressed me. So have booked in September. Will be interesting to see what gains can be made over Revo. Very much looking forward to it. To mark the occasion I have bought a Peron IC as a upgrade over my stage 1 airtech. Want to give Nick the best spec I can to get the most I can and avoid my TTE420 itch !  :happy2:

Will post results when it's done.

Currently revo stage 2+

What's the market like for used sps switches ?

AKS, chap called Paul I dealt with, really helpful and good to deal with. Not fitted it yet, but the weight difference between that and the Airtech is huge !. The airtech weighs a order or magnitude more than the Peron.

I have heard only good things about the Peron so bit the bullet. Prob not the wisest money I have spent as I already have the airtech stage 1, but wanted to give Nick the best chance of getting everything he can.

Revo maps are aggressive so you will find Niki maps more progressively (unless you want aggression). Lot of guys on here with TTE420s mapped by Niki (bignod & TFSIMike) say it's easy to drive gently and smoothly, however if you push the pedal hard it delivers  :driver:

Indeed the first part of the pedal is more sensible but if you want full throttle, just nail it.

I spoke with them on the phone and they said I can have it as aggressive as I want so that's really good to know. Are the guys with tte420 running 2wd ?, what sort of power did it make ?.

Damn you for making me think about more upgrades again ! Haha  :jumpmove:
