What's the best way to get these fitted?

I have done them before by removing the wheel and tapping the centre cap out from behind with the soft end of a screwdriver.

There may be an easier way (I.e. Without taking the wheel off) but I haven't tried any other methods.

HTH's

Enjoy the new DV! If you can post up a picture of your cam follower once it's out you'll be able to get some feedback on how worn it is or isn't.

Sometimes they come out looking perfect. Sometimes they come out looking very sketchy indeed!!

Good luck with the rest of it!

Can I have your old DV if you're just going to bin it?

Also, to remove your old caps just drill a hole dead centre and put the top of a coat hanger in it to pull out. Only way you can do it without damaging alloy face or removing wheel!

Top advice here. Never thought of that  :happy2:

Not too much to update but planning to do a full service come Sunday.

White number plate bulbs fitted, have done both door modules now as the driver one started playing up too. New wheel centre caps fitted.

Air,pollen, fuel filters, oil and spark plugs along with fresh oil.
Will do Cam Follower at the same time so should be good to go after that.

Managed 39.1 mpg on a run yesterday which I was well happy with. All running well and have some big plans for next year although there is more to follow on this.

Few photos taken on the new 7+ this afternoon. See how good they come out.

Looking good there mate.

It's comforting to know you've sorted most of the troublesome bits out huh.

What plans have you got ?

Looking great  :happy2:
The door modules are a pain the way they fail so often  :sad1:
But now you have new ones so you're all set  :happy2:
Service items sounds great!

Cheers Gents.

Also managed to get the LED numberplate bulbs working at long last too.

That's the plan Rippers. Before i start playing with the power, get all of the service parts done. Love the black but I'm sorely tempted by a set of Silver 18' Monza's to break it up a little but we shall see.

Plans for the coming months:

Stage 1 to start with. R Tech or Shark. With a new clutch at the same time. Hoping to ultimately get to Stage 2+
Revo/K And N intake
RNS510
Milltek/Scorpion System
Plenty of other little bits too.

After seeing the edition 30 build#1521 there is so much I want to get done. When time and money allow.

I don't think I've seen as many recommendations for one tuner as I have for Niki Gower in R-Tech. If I was based in the UK I'd definitely be going to him :happy2:
Stage 1 on a K04 powered car is going to be so nice :happy2:
Enjoy :pomppomp: :driver:

Sorry!! My mistake. I thought this was an edition30. Was mixing it up with another car.:ashamed:

Still... stage 1 on a K03 is fun too :happy2:
Early spool for the win :happy2:
