I phoned up on Tuesday and was booked in for tomorrow. He said a health check was included and I've read that he can replace pvc and dv valves if necessary? Not sure about can followers. Now I'm worried haha
how did you get a quick booking date
i thought they was fully booked untill 8 oct ?

They sometimes get cancellations, My last booking was a cancellation and got in within a few days.

Generally they are fully booked for quite a bit in advance!

Awesome they're a fair bit of money arnt they or am I thinking of the APR pump? My clutch is fine as far as I'm aware. I'm pretty sure the DSG can handle stage 1 pretty easily.

Cool, yes I seem to remember hearing that about the DSG now! Are you planning on going beyond stage 1 fella?

Standard Edition 30 Clutch wont last at Stage 1+

Its the Torque that is the issue and the Stage 1+ map offers between 340-360LB/FT of Torque which is more than Stage 2 without the uprated HPFP and not a Million miles away from Stage 2+ figures!

You tend to see Niki at R-Tech capping the Torque figures on the later CDL Engines fitted th the Edition 35's, Golf R and Audi S3 to around 320LB/FT to preserve the stock clutch although many CDL's will see upto 330-340LB/FT at Stage 1!

You will also need to get rid of your Pre-Cat too for Stage 1+.

That said Stage 1+ is supposed to be a fantastic fast road map!

Are you referring to a manual clutch?

Yeah my car is DSG. Do you know how much torque the DSG box can safely take?

Enough! Probably more than you need to worry about unless you are going beyond Stage 2+ and 400LB/FT upwards! Not sure what the exact figure is but theres planty of Stage 2 + DSG's knocking about.
