If it's been looked after the miles shouldn't be too much of an issue but I'd be replacing all the usual things as soon as possible. Wheels are not original and there is no armrest. I thought all the ED's had the arm rest?

Hmm I didn't think the armrest was standard on the edition 30's; there is one on auto trader with out an armrest.

Cons:
Aerial
No MFSW
Terrible head unit
No armrest
Halogen lights
Painted possibly fake BBS
Missing the plastic bit for the compartment on the right of the boot
Mileage

Pros:
Parking sensors
Edition 30

I would personally keep looking, you're a very informed member of this forum and know well what to look for...

This to me is a poor low spec example with high mileage. You'll retrofit all of your own equipment and then some into it at a cost of thousands and it won't show any return!

I'd love a DSG driving around town and coming home in traffic but on the weekend when you're enjoying it a bit more I guarantee you'll miss changing gears and holding revs!

You can still do all those things in a dsg  :P

As said above, the spec isn't great and im sure you could find one with a better spec for a similar price.

I wouldn't be put off by mileage though, I've done 106k in mine and had very little problems so far. Just be prepared to do the usual maintenance stuff when you buy it which in sure you're aware of already.

Armrest - there wasn't one on mine; there is now - £100 and 2 hrs work...

That head unit is same as my standard one was - not really up to the mark nowadays (basic 6 CD + FM/AM). Changed mine for a RNS 315 DAB off Pashka for around £300ish...that even sound better too, never mind Nav aux in/SD card etc.

However, I think the "1 Owner from new" is interesting?

Depends entirely on what you're looking for, low miles & fully loaded big price, or average miles and reasonable price.
I'm sure that's been there a while,so might be willing to drop in price.

What's missing from the boot?

Looks the same as mine.

Hey, Mate I think this is fake by the looks of it. it's looks like a normal gti two examples the armrest and on the bumper it doesn't have the ed30 badge like on the back right it should be under the gti badge.
