I don't think they warp, I don't think it's possible to warp cast iron, it's more the standard TTRS discs are both the same hand/directional vanes so one side runs hotter than the other.which isn't ideal when pushing on, you'd probably never notice in a mk5 gti unless you track it.

The vagbremtechnic carriers that allow use of the 340mm TTS disc may seem a tad expensive but the TTS discs can be had for about £80 ( Brembo) a pair where as the the TTRS are north of £300.

I bought my kit bit by bit ,and I was lucky to find the vagbrem carriers and j-hooked discs lightly used locally on eBay for about £120 ( Bargain ) the seller thought they where warped after a trip to the ring, but what he was experiencing was probably pad deposits because Iv never any problems with them,

great upgrade
You can warp the discs as my LCR ones were when I bought them thinking what a bargain full set up for £325. I'll see how it goes as ive got bigger problems re snapped nipped drilled and hidden with tissue. Here's me thinking calipers are painted hence the tissue in thr nipple holes but just looked at them 20 mintutes ago 1150pm  Aug 30th and ones fu**** along with rough pistons.  :signLOL: Here's how to not grab a bargain lol
If only this site was as easy to upload pics as FB or instagram as it takes forever and a day

I wouldn't worry about all this warped disc talk. i doubt you would drive hard enough to get it upto temps to cause such issues.

people always banging on about the discs warping, but how many people had this issue on the Mk5? i didn't and i know a fair few people
that have this set up with no issues of warping at all.

I usually send this to people if asked about bedding in, it's a little blurry and sideways but you get the gist.

I'm not really worried about the warping tbh. I'm just pissed off with what I've been sold  :signLOL:
