Repainting Edition 30 calipers
« on: September 02, 2016, 08:34:24 pm »
Hi guys,

My edition 30 calipers have faded to a dull pink so wanted to spruce them up a bit. Which paint should I use?, I've found:

1. Hammerite smooth red
2. High temp paint on eBay (ferrari red)
3. Halfords brake caliper paint.

Also will I get a better finish with a spray or just use a brush?

Probably will do the brake rotors at the same time in black.

I have the same issue with my rear. I'm going to go with the hammerite brush on first and see how it comes out

Wait for an ECP deal (normally get a flash 30% sale at weekends). You can normally get Foliatec for ~£18 instead of £30 or e-tech for ~£10 instead of £20

Another vote for Hammerite, Just done mine on the ED30 a few days ago.

Smooth Red on the Calipers
Smooth Silver on the Disc Hubs
Smooth Black on the Disc Gaurds

Will be posting pictures over the next day or so when I have finished everything on the car.
