when I press brakes my radio frequency goes fuzzy

Been having this problem sinse I've been driving this car and it just doesn't go fuzzy but also no music from speakers. Any idea guys?.

Aerial lead caught behind pedal mechanism and damaged coax maybe? Can't imagine how it could be caused by an electrical fault but not an expert, could be a supply problem to an amplifier relating to common supplies?. Maybe try a cheap mag mount aerial with its own coax.

Cheers @flashp I'll check the pedal area out as it's doing my head in as I come.to a slow down or stop and it's hissing at me  people might think I'm mad listening to a hiss  if I can't find a solution it'll be out the window and new set up in.

Do you have fancy brake lights (eg LEDs), it's possible that LEDs or associated electronics might generate radio frequency noise.

Oh noooooooo  I think it started after I fitted the inner skyline lights but can't be 100% sure as I didn't really listen to the radio then.

Yes it's the same when I'm stationery or braking and slowing down not sure about when braking hard.

Maybe try and fit a shielding around the lights.  That may help.

It's definitely interference some where,unplug your lighting and go from there

unplug  that'll be quite difficult as all the wiring plugs are hidden away in the boot lid.
Will need to cut the wiring at the connections behind the rear panels

You can unplug the main two rear lights in 5 seconds. Just move the felt lining and you'll see a plug going into each unit, push a flathead screwdriver towards the front of the car and boom.

He did the skyline mod so it's no longer that simple I think...
