Itg=wow!!!
« on: May 23, 2010, 03:49:37 pm »
Well after staring at it in the box for nearly a week I finally got chance yesterday to fit my itg cold air induction kit onto my ed30 fitting was pritty straight forward maybe the most confusing part was the foam heatshield but we sorted it in the end. Sound wise this thing is amazing sounds like darthfader on heat not over the top if you drive conservitibly but open it up and it brings in quite a growl precisely what I was looking for people thinking of upgrading there intake I feel you need look no further. Faultless

Good to hear you're happy but I feel we need some input from RedRobin in this thread...   :smiley:

I hope you don't think I'm anti ITG - I have great respect for them and ran their panel filter for some time. I'm not fond of the foam blocks atop the battery etc though!

Or are you saying you want some pics of girlies?  :evilgrin:

I always aim to please, KRL  :drinking:

Just to further show my support for ITG's intake offering, here's a link to SteveP's excellent review:

:evilgrin: I much prefer Forge's Twintake though - It ticks my eye-candy box  :evilgrin:

I must agree I'm not the biggest fan of the foam blocks but with the introduction of some clever trimming this can be recitified

This reminds me, I must call ITG about possible R32 product development...
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?

I just bought a MK5 BSH Trueseal induction kit off e bay for £80, how good are these?
Obviously not going to be anywhere near as good as the ITG one though.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Trueseal induction kit .   :smiley:

they are good even for £150 so you should be suitably pleased knowing that you have only paid £80.

how many miles has it done.  It might be worth while for peace of mind to give the filter a service :happy2:
