Newbie - midlands
« on: September 07, 2016, 12:55:25 pm »
Hey I'm Tim and thought I would say hello!

Last week I had the choice between a Mini Cooper S or a mk5 golf GTI... It wasn't really a choice as I took the GTI on the test drive first and bought it right then!

Previous cars have included Mazda's, Toyota's, a Vauxhall Astra, Seat Leon and my first ever car... A Nissan Micra!

I'm really pleased with the car and I am looking forward to replacing a few bits and giving it some TLC. I'm more of a stock man rather than after market, but after seeing some of the cars here I could be tempted!

I'm definitely a newbie when it comes to this, so will be asking for a bit of help along the way!

The first decision ... Keep the 17" Monzas or replace them with 18" Monza 2s? (Sealing them first!!)

Have a great day.

Tim

Welcome along Tim!

Sounds like a no brainer when the other choice was a Mini  :happy2:

There will be plenty of info and photos on here which I am sure will corrupt your plans to stay stock! As for the wheels I would suggest upgrading to the 18" Monza 2's. They set the car off so much better.
