Intercoolers questions

Hi guys! How much power can standard intercooler on a Mk5 Gti handle? Also heard about Twin intercooler setup & wondered what would be best way to go for Stage 2 / Stage 2+ remap?

Loads of thread with this. I guess it depends on how much you want to spend and what power figures you want to achieve.
For simplicity, id go for the twin intecooler setup as it still uses your stock intercooler aswell.

You can buy the forge copies on ebay for about 170quid i think. there are people runnin 360+ with this setup.

There is also the s3 intercooler which is slightly bigger than your original intercooler which is a good replacement for a couple hundred quick.

the Welly cooler is a universal intercooler with custom pipes which seems to coole the air no matter what your  power figures are. I think that costs me about 180 and half a days work to install it.
