I scrapped the bayonet fitting idea after a friend suggested to do what he did and tig weld on another pipe to the original turbo pipe. That way you can angle it whichever way is best as it's all pretty tight round that area!

I need to get that done as well.  Need to find a tig welding person first!

yeah if you got someone who can tig weld for you then why not. if not it wont stop you if you have the bayonet
