Nibz Silver mk5
« on: August 22, 2016, 02:24:03 pm »
I didnt want to start a build thread if Im being honest as im not going to deep with modifying the GTI. In 2 years time im going to hopefully get a MK7 R so I want to keep this well maintained and as close to oem as possible for a potential sale in a few years. So now I thought maybe I should do a thread; at least if its a forum member that will buy my car there can at least be a reference to what I have done, also reasons for what im doing.

Ok, so I have owned this car for a few weeks bought off another forum member pretty much standard apart from a wheel refurb.

2 owners
Full VWSH
69k miles
57 plate

A credit to the previous owner this car is immaculate and doesnt look 9 years old. Drives very well no rattles etc.

Plans maybe:

rcd510
30mm lowering springs
Edition 30 or BBS alloys
Tints
Colour coded bumpers / skirts
Remap

One of my previous cars, the one I miss the most

Looks lovely and clean  :congrats:

A few minor mods won't do any harm to it's resale value so enjoy it!

Thank you! Yes I agree and I think a small amount of good quality mods will actually add to the value (im hoping)  :happy2:

Thanks, I do like the colour but unfortunately they're only 17s so either I need to lower slightly or get 18s IMO
