I have a silver ed30 also for sale 66k on the clock, I thought the same about prices, but limited interest so far, it seems they are worth what people are willing to pay unfortunately.

To many people they're just an overpriced GTI and they don't realise the difference. Only those in the know, know.

I'm still not entirely sure they're worth the difference myself but we'll see.

They are a future classic, prices will remain high , it is a nicer car than the standard GTI. But if you just want a car to drive around in and put 30-40k onto the mileage then buy a standard car. If you want loads of power get the ED30 and start modding.
A 2007 60-70k GTI is about £7k and 2007 ED30 about £9k. Extras add quite a bit to both cars.
Any links to low mileage ED30's send them to me please (under 40k)

What is that display on the dash, never seen one appear like that. Mileage is good but spec is poor. Thanks for posting these links.
I am really missing my ED30 that i sold, had 23000 on it 2 years ago. Its been sorn'd ever since (ish)
I just need to find some secure storage nearby to me and i will be making a purchase. The cheap option is the ED30  :scared: But money in the bank is pointless is a waste of time.

For the last 5 or so months I've watched the ED30 ads on here. All great cars and cherished but not selling. Bump.. Bump, back up etc etc. So I priced mine under 8k. First to come bought, haggled a bit due to work needed and sold. 57 plate 93k miles DSG full Revo and to me mint. I'm pretty sure if I had advertised 9-10k region it would still be on my drive and not the MK7 PP that is. I'm happy to have sold at the price it went for and its gone to an enthusiast too but now, reading this thread I feel guilty that I may be a factor in the valuation of 2nd hand eddies. Like Lidl and Asda,Does that make sense?
I watched it drive away and the sense of loss was unbelievable. They are great cars, years to come a classic but ,maybe ppl are asking too much for what is a 10 yr old car. Just my opinion.

Evening lads, sorry to hi-jack a thread, but...

What do we think to an Edition 30 in tornado red, with 108k on it? I should add that its just had an entire re-spray off the back of VW's corrosion warranty due to some rust spots appearing on the car, so as expected, the condition is exceptional?

What do you guys think?

Respray or replacement panels and sprayed ? Cannot believe they would respray a whole car either. How much is it ?
