tdi brake upgrade
« on: September 30, 2016, 03:31:31 pm »
a colleague at work upgraded his tdi brakes to gti ones and now his brakes travel to the floor although it gets hard by pumping it up-- he doesn't have any stopping problems though --when i did mine about 4 years ago i read somewhere that this was normal---  my thoughts is the master cylinder but i don't want to give him a wrong diagnosis--- any ideas

it gets hard by pumping it

Sorry, couldn't help it.  Sounds like there's air in the system.
