^ Even though the rear strut isn't needed functionally on a Mk5 chassis, it does make an excellent divider and baggage retainer if someone was doing the back seat removal semi permanently.
As others have posted: Very important indeed to use the seat belt anchors as Schroth recommend - I have Schroth too but not worn every day on the road.
Thomas sport tuning stress Brace for the rear,has tightened rear chassis of my mk5 ,but noticed more on track day's to be honest,also the back seat's can be used with Stress Brace and rear seat upright, "have to love that as a bonus".

Would look nice if i hide everything with a nice flat panel and slots in it for the harness ,still unable to find OEM carpet to match boot floor cloth,possible option's from VW Van's (caddy or tranporter) with bigger floor cloth,also some sound deadening mats has anyone any advice our photo's ,
