Really?  I paid less than that for mine, and it's not exactly poverty spec, or over 100k, or missing ANY servicing.

I missed out on an 08 plate 5 door edition 30 with 120k that was £3500, someone I know bought it. I was seriously gutted.

Really?  I paid less than that for mine, and it's not exactly poverty spec, or over 100k, or missing ANY servicing.

When I see something cheap it's usually a hoax sale as I've learn email sellers are always fake and if your selling a car or whatever thenwhy can't you answer the phone. some sellers are genuine but not the ones with low mileage high specs as sometimes it's just to see how much attention they attract is what I reckon.

My mate bought a edition 30 5 door black not brilliant spec but 110k for 4k and there's nothing wrong full history and even dsg services

Prices must have gone down due to the mk7 as they weren't as cheap as this before.

I think it's when people don't realise they are edition 30 and just think it's a gti he got it off a middle age woman don't think she had any idea tbh haha, seen a few decent looking ones floating around 6k

Yeah she probably just seen it as a gof but don't under estimate a woman as the cars high spec so guessing she knew what she was after but in the end didn't care when coming to sell.
